These cover the advising service. They are written to be read, not to be survived.

1. What the service is

Educational and advisory support for people considering, applying to, or enrolled in medical and health-professions programmes. It draws on thirty-one years of teaching human anatomy and physiology and on direct experience of the admissions and matriculation path.

Advising is provided through the research lab's nonprofit, a Florida entity [not yet formed — name pending], operating from Florida, United States.

2. No guarantee of admission

Nothing here guarantees admission to any programme, a particular score, a grade, or any other outcome. Admissions decisions are made by institutions applying their own criteria, and no advisor has influence over them.

Anyone in this field who promises you an outcome is either misinformed or selling you something. Advice, preparation, and an honest read of where you stand are what is on offer. They improve your odds. They do not decide them.

3. This is not medical advice

Panisse Padilla is a biomedical educator. Sessions may cover anatomy, physiology, and clinical concepts as academic subjects.

Nothing said in a session, and nothing on this site, is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no clinician–patient relationship is created by using this service. If you have a health concern, consult a licensed physician. If it is urgent, contact emergency services.

4. Academic integrity

This service will not write your personal statement, secondary essays, or any other document you are required to author yourself. It will not complete coursework, take an assessment on your behalf, or supply answers to a graded exercise.

You will get structural feedback, critique, and preparation. The work stays yours. Asking for otherwise ends the engagement, without refund.

5. Booking, contributions, cancellation

Booking	Sessions are scheduled through the booking link on the advising page.
Contribution	Sessions are supported by a minimum contribution to the research lab's nonprofit, set by the task and the knowledge it requires. The amount and what it covers are stated before a session begins. [amounts not set; characterisation pending counsel]

Every bracketed row above is an open decision, not placeholder text. These cannot ship blank — an unclear cancellation policy is the single most common source of disputes in this kind of practice. Note also that a required contribution in exchange for a service is treated as a fee rather than a gift, which affects deductibility and may trigger a written disclosure obligation. Counsel must settle the wording before launch.

6. Confidentiality

What you share in a session — your transcript, your circumstances, your worries about whether this is realistic — is treated as confidential and is not discussed with anyone else or used as an example without your written permission.

This is a professional courtesy and a commitment, not a legal privilege. It is not attorney–client or doctor–patient confidentiality, and it does not override a legal obligation to disclose.

7. Your responsibilities

Tell the truth about your record. Advice built on an inaccurate picture is worthless, and you are the only one who can prevent that.
Meet the deadlines that belong to you. Application cycles do not move.
Verify anything programme-specific with the programme itself. Requirements change, and the institution is always the authority on its own rules.

8. Limits of liability

9. Intellectual property

Materials prepared for you — notes, plans, annotated feedback — are yours to use for your own application and study. Course materials, frameworks, and written resources remain the property of [the nonprofit — name pending] and may not be redistributed or resold.

10. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the date at the top will change and material changes will be described. Governed by the laws of the State of Florida. [Confirm with counsel — especially if clients outside the US are accepted.]
